2025 Dump & Run Ithaca is now accepting donations of quality used household goods and clothing!
Donations Bins are open from May 8-30. Many Cornell buildings have on-campus drop-off locations available. See the list of donation bin locations here.
On-site donations also accepted at our storefront in the Shops at Ithaca Mall.
For larger items of furniture, pick-ups are available May 13-30. Three days' notice is need for off campus pick-up. To schedule a pick-up or if you have any questions, please email dumpandrun@cornell.edu. Building Care will answer your email.
Thank you for your generosity, and thanks for helping us keep perfectly good items out of the landfill! Your fellow students and community members will appreciate your kindness.
Dump & Run Ithaca would not be possible without the hundreds of hours contributed by our dedicated volunteer team. Volunteers sort, clean, organize and display merchandise, as well as run the sale. Dump & Run volunteers who work 20 or more hours are invited to attend a pre-sale event. However, you should join us for the fun experience working with other great volunteers, all for a good cause! Incoming students get to buy good quality merchandise at an affordable price, and proceeds from the Dump & Run sale support the work of Cops, Kids & Toys in providing holiday gifts for kids in need. Since this is a community charity project, we regret that individuals who resell merchandise as a business cannot be volunteers.
